About Us

We’re Kiera and Ayden! Obviously we’re both animal crazy and met at Hadlow College when we were 16 and 17. In 2018 we both got our degrees. Kiera achieved an FdSc Applied Animal Behavioural Science and Welfare and Ayden achieved an FdSc Aquaculture and Fishery Management. We got married whilst still at university in 2017 and in January 2025 we welcomed the newest member of The Micro Zoo, our beautiful baby girl Iris.

 

We always knew we wanted our own business and spent a long time trying to figure out how to incorporate both of our passions into one business, so we came up with The Micro Zoo! The Micro Zoo started off as a little Instagram account to showcase our own pets and when in 2019 we opened our doors to your pets, the name had already stuck!
